ThanksUnfortunately not here on your device. But you can check your navcore version at any time on TomTom HOME. Go to Help - System Information and your navcore should be shown under Connected device - Installed Items. I tried to edit my first post to move up the step about checking your navcore version, but this forum doesn't allow editing of posts after a day or so. In your case, for your model you should already have a navcore higher than version 8. Last edited by lemonfish; 12-02-11 at 02:04 PM. Seems i can update map, speed cameras without fear of that now.... I hope Don't start celebrating just yet! It seems unlikely that you would have two computers with the same corruption problem. While getting back to me in a couple of days initially support has now met my increasingly frantic requests for help for 5 days - and I am stuck in Spain with no sat nav and no way of updating it -I don't know where to go from patch tomtom home profile dll - I find myself in the position of having bought an update the updated maps which seems to have been a retrograde step, I can't undo it and I now seem to be being ignored by support. Are saying you tried to install a new map. Then right-click the TomTom folder and select Delete. That, to me, points to their program. Tout you have a backup of your Navi files in case you stuff up. TomTom HOME has been removed from your computer. Last edited by oceanboy; 12-02-11 at 02:37 PM. I have a TomTom GO 730 that I've run through this process with and it all u fine, but that was about a year ago on an older version of NavCore. Btw, I'm guessing because I don't know MAC. Try the following steps: 1 Connect your TomTom to the pc.
